5/09/2005 · Can anyone make suggestions on how to partition Mac Hard Drives to get the best performance? Basically, I do alot of audio recordings. I have (1) 165GB hard drive and (1) 300GB hard drive installed in my G5.... I always suggest user to create at least two partition to separate system and data. This is particularly for Windows system. The reason is that Windows sometimes need resetting, due to many reasons, and the easiest way is to format system drive and reinstall clean.
